lela creeps (for real this time)

so awhile back we thought lela started creeping.  absolutely wrong.  today was the day.  lela hoisted her little booty up in the air, pulled with her arms, and dragged her chubby legs all the way across her bedroom rug.  she figured out how to do it well and the more we provoked her the more she did it...

also new, lela bathes on her own (just kidding....but she does sit without her chair now in the bath), she can sit up unsupported, she had her first babysitter (not to include family) this past thursday!, and she plays games with us.  she'll be screeching in her room at bedtime and we'll go upstairs to check on her and she'll have her pacifier in her hand and when we walk in the door she quickly pops it into her mouth.  this is usually either accompanied by her falling into an "X" shape and fake sleeping (and then looking up at us..."oh, fancy seeing you here")  ...or kicking her left leg like crazy and squealing with excitement that she got us into her room again.
