so we had our big "anatomy scan" today...and we have a healthy active baby! the technician had to chase the little one down a few times to get the right photo for the scan, but then the baby got sleepy. :) the pics that the technician took are pretty crappy, but here they are anyway. as you can see, cheetahlips looks like a mini exorcist, but i think the crazy juju eyes are from brant (he gets them sometimes). the technician was really sweet and showed and explained everything to us including the brain, heart (beating at 148 beats per minute), kidneys (baby's got both!), stomach, liver, spine (no spina bifida - thank you folic acid), feet (with all toes), hands (with all fingers), arms, nose, lips (no cleft lip...swallowing and yawning away), juju eyes, and ears. all seems well, but we'll meet with our ob doc on tuesday to go over the full scan in greater detail.
