i just found out today that i got accepted into the university of illiniois' online master's program for global studies in education! ah, that was a mouthful. :) i am SO thrilled. it was between there and drexel (which i didn't apply to) for online programs in educational policy with concentrations in global studies. since drexel is way too expensive for me and requires more credits and will take longer, i was putting all my eggs in one basket and hoping illinois would come through....and they did! so it's orange and blue for me for the next two years....(YEAH RIGHT...i couldn't possibly wear anything other than maize and blue!) i will start one week before baby reilly arrives....hmmmmm...i wonder how that will go! brant may end up writing my first paper for me. just kidding, sort of.
i'm so pumped! :)
