happening lately...

lela in the spring of her kinder year at TSA here in sumter...estelle in 3yo preschool at trinity.  we love both schools, as do the girls.

estelle has been saying "clomb" instead of "climbed" (it's sooo funny!) when trying to say, "she climbed the mountain!"  she'll say, "she clomb the mountain!"

estelle was playing at 4yo cecilia ayre's house.  it was dark and she wanted to leave. she left out the front door and walked all the way down the street and around the corner in the now cold air with no shoes to our house.  she's not allowed to walk home alone from anywhere.  we had just left to go to crofton's house for a campfire.  she was standing on our doorstep confused and whimpering when fokker buessing walked by (also headed to the campfire).  he informed her that we were not home and that she should come with him to where we are... she did.  it was scary for her and we felt like terrible parents, but i think she learned her lesson not to sneak away...

lela after saying a prayer...  "hey!  why isn't 'awomen' instead of 'amen'?!"

estelle, "we need to get palm trees in our garden and call it hawaii sumter!"

estelle and lela were playing with little dolls and the dolls were chatting.  estelle's doll said to lela's doll, "and i teach english to people that speak other languages!"  my current job.  :)
