lela's about to start 1st grade next week and just found out she's going to have the SAME teacher as the year before....as she was reading the letter, it was like she won Publisher's Clearinghouse...her jaw dropped in shock and she screamed! ms. tisha again! :)
the girls are always begging for a pet, mostly a cat or dog. today estelle said, "how about a fish?!" i said, "hmm, maybe." lela said, "no, we can't play with a fish." estelle said, "yes, but we can kill it! we can kill it if we're hungry and eat it for dinner."
at bedtime the other night, estelle told me she likes to look up at her garland above her bed and look at the flamingo. i smiled. she then continued, "yeah, i like to look up at it because god is a flamingo. that's god." :)
